"We recently visited bluestone in wales for a holiday and noticed this little gem of a pub when driving back from Tenby. We looked at the online menu and there was lots of choice. We booked up and headed down one evening and the whole experience was amazing. Not only did they have the already great menu but also lots of specials to choose from. We had 2 vegetarians with us and they had an extensive choice of dishes to choose from. The food we ordered was amazing - the bruschetta with caramalised onion was a game changer and I really enjoyed this dish. Portion sizes were huge and all food and drink reasonably priced. The ladies that served us were really accommodating and made sure we were ok and enjoying ourselves throughout the visit. I just wish I could pick this pub up and put it nearer to home as there were so many food options I would love to visit again, and next time we are in this neck of the woods we will. It is a 10 minute drive from Bluestone so if you are there I would really recommend a visit here. It was quite busy so would be advisable to book. Thanks for a lovely dining experience."

"Having eaten there 3 times this year already and many times before. Can’t recommend it enough. From moment you walk in you feel like a friend, team are lovely. Food is amazing. Down side for us we live 120 miles away, so can’t eat in there as often as we’d like. Look forward to visiting next year again."

"Lovely food as usual. Nice atmosphere and unhurried. Three different meals for 4 and all came out together. Piping hot. Each plate was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Shame the Lemon tart wasn’t available. "

"The Boars Head Templeton is a traditional pub with a modern twist. The food is simply amazing and the staff are superb in every aspect. This level of service is what all pubs should should aspire to. Sadly, we were only in the area for the weekend but we hope to visit again one day."

"I stopped here on my way home from Bluestone as I wanted something fun for kids as I read there was a kids area. When we came in the lady who met us said we could go in the family room but if we wanted could sit in the main room, the main room had a lovely atmosphere, not so much in the family room but my kids didn’t care, they were happy to play. Our food came and it was so much better than I expected, my son chose spaghetti bolognese and it was really nice, the sauce was fresh and tasty - he loves bolognese, my parents are Italian and so he’s used to really good pasta."

"Had a family meal here. The staff were extremely helpful and were happy to recommend dishes to us. They were also happy to recommend the family room to us as we had our 3 year old with us and they have a good play area in there. The food came hot, delicious and in a timely manner. Would definitely visit again"
